Lutheran Church
The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer is made up of disciples who welcome everyone and follow Jesus in hope, love, joy, and peace. We are a Reconciling in Christ congregation, which means that we welcome everyone, regardless of their background, age, race, gender, and ability levels. God says to come as you are, and we completely agree.
We love to have God’s children of all ages in worship, so please bring the whole family. We are looking forward to meeting you!
Staff
staff members are also responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of the church.

PASTOR
Lynne O'Shea
Pastor Lynne O’Shea received her Master of Divinity from the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, SC. Preaching, worship leadership, building relationships, and walking with people through the joys and sorrows of life are some of her favorite things about being a minister. In addition to serving congregations, she has also worked as a bereavement volunteer for a hospice, chaired the Arkansas-Oklahoma Synod Discipleship Team, and is a trained disaster spiritual care responder. Pastor Lynne is delighted to be at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and would love to welcome you to be a part of this wonderful congregation as well.

Adult Bible Study - Bible Study is held at 6:30 each Thursday evening to explore the readings for the coming Sunday. There is lively discussion and lots of learning as we dig deep and share our insights. All are welcome!
ALOFT (All Learning Our Faith Together) -
After worship on Sunday mornings, this interactive group of all ages meets to explore Bible stories through discussion, crafts, songs, or whatever fits the story or theme that day. Everyone is invited to share in the fun of learning!
Vacation Bible School -
Adults of the church are asked to consider giving one week during the summer to the Christian development of the children of Redeemer and the surrounding community. VBS activities take yearlong planning, but the end result is well worth the effort for everyone involved.

Congregational Life
Every church must attend to its own “family” of members, and it is this commission’s task to
keep Redeemer working together as a joyful, playful, and resourceful Christian family.
Community Fellowship
Members of the congregation and friends in the community gather for fun and fellowship at various events. These include Second Sunday Brunch, Friday Fun Night, Wednesday dinners during Advent and Lent, and our church softball team.
Men's Group
Redeemer’s Men’s Group gathers monthly at a local restaurant for an evening meal and fellowship. The group considers service to various ministries, and in recent years has raised money to buy school uniforms and supplies for refugee children through Inspirits.
Hospitality
This committee is made up of members who host church events, shop for needed items, cook, clean, and decorate. They also coordinate the provision of bereavement meals and Sunday morning coffee and refreshments.
Women of Redeemer
Women of Redeemer meet monthly to enjoy fellowship, Bible study, and plan for service projects. This group is excited to be in the process of becoming a chapter of WELCA (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church) and supporting MILGRO, a school for young women in Guatemala.
Care Team
Members of the Care Team visit members in the hospital, in assisted living, or confined to home, providing prayer, church interaction, and may be trained to offer communion to those who request it. Members gather at a monthly meeting to provide updates and prayer needs. This team also oversees the Prayer Chain and Milestone Ministries.
